Toka

I hadn't planned on being in this picture but "sit" and "stay" wasn't in their vocabulary that day ! Toka (fka Alaska) is the most marvelous dog, great at giving kisses and hugs, and goes cross-eyed when he kisses me on the nose. As you can see, he has filled out a good 15 to 20 lbs. worth. He is so sensitive to my moods it's almost scary, I swear he can read my mind. I'm not sure I would have prevailed losing Buggy without him, and no one that doesn't have a Siberian would understand that. I think my only regret is not knowing what his life was like before AHDI rescued him, but he is sure needed now. I just can't tell you how much we love Toka. He really is one of the best dogs I've ever known. He's such a happy boy. Tara would be intolerable without him. She's so dependent on him and there's no question in anybody's mind that she is absolutely "his" puppy. If there was ever a poster child for rescue or a HUGE success story this big marvelous boy is it !
